Introduction

First Read supports family literacy and education in poor communities around the world.

We work with those communities to develop and implement a comprehensive model for realising the multiple benefits of family focused book provision and reading promotion.

Our approach offers an innovative way of expanding and improving early chilhood care and education at the same time as supporting improvements in adult literacy and other skills, through supported family learning and community mobilisation.

First Read does this by:
